Hometown Friends in Minneapolis

From Madison we traveled northwest to Minneapolis to connect with Sarah's Cornwall hometown friends, Kate and Juliet for a RAP party at Mapps Coffee House on Tuesday night.

Crossing over the Mississippi River a second time in a week, we entered the Twin Cities in gridlock traffic at 5pm but found ourselves in a quaint and quiet south Minneapolis neighborhood of Kate's. Upon arrival, we were happy to find excellent access to the Minnehaha trail system to stretch our road wearing legs. A home cooked dinner by Kate and we were well on our way of being warmly introduced to Minneapolis!

Our open house at Mapps was a huge success and we thank all of our supporters for coming out and visiting us! Great thanks to Juliet for organizing such a great event. And huge thanks to Mapps for allowing us to give our RAP spiel and for giving us such tasty, fall inspired hot drinks.

With a hearty breakfast of Montana elk sausage (the freezer is top notch in the Anthill) and with a mid-morning run under our handmade RAP belts, we steered north from our great friends towards Lake Superior where we dock our land yacht in Ashland, WI for a house party.

The Great Lakes circle tour continues!
